Mr. Marty Cannon began his teaching career at St. Thomas More in 2014 as a member of the Social Studies Department. He joined the administration team as Assistant Principal of Discipline and Dean of Students in 2021. He also coached football, track and wrestling, and served as the Fishing Club moderator. Marty is a 1993 graduate of STM. He is married to the former Aundria Hebert '93 and they have three sons; Cameron '20, Wade '24 and Brandon '29. He and his family are members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Claire Masterson

Dr. Claire Masterson began teaching English at St. Thomas More in 2011 and served as English Department Head from 2017 to 2021. During her time at STM, she has also served as Instructional Coach and a mentor to new faculty members. She is an active member of her home parish, St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, where she lives with her husband, John Paul, and their children, Anne Marie, Luke and Lucy.

Nick Cortese

Mr. Nick Cortese began his teaching career at St. Thomas More in 2014 as a member of the Social Studies Department. He joined the administration team as Dean of Students in 2023. He also coached basketball, football, and track. Nick is a 2009 graduate of STM. He is married to the former Allie Kenner '10, they have one son, and are expecting a second baby in October. He and his family are members of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Kim Broussard

Mr. Broussard joined the STM staff in 1984. During his career as an educator, he has taught science, math, and health and physical education. He coached basketball, baseball, tennis and cross country. Mr. Broussard is a member of the LA High School Athletic Directors Association and the National Athletic Directors Association. He is married to Cheryl T. Broussard and has three children; Tristin '06, Brody '10, and Jency '13.

Jeffery Cormier

Mr. Jeff Cormier has taught a variety of high school theology courses and came to St. Thomas More in 2003. He is currently serving as the STM Theology Department Head. He is also one of the directors of STM Campus Ministry and is the Safe Environment Coordinator. He is actively involved in his home parish’s music ministry and CCD program. Mr. Cormier is passionate about sharing our Catholic faith with others.

Anne Pitre

Mrs. Pitre has been with St. Thomas More Catholic High School since 2005, first serving as a teacher in the Business and Technology Department then as Director of Advancement. Mrs. Pitre previously worked in healthcare management and non-profits. She is a Eucharistic minister for St. Thomas More and serves her church parish as an usher and lector. She is married to Mark Pitre and has three children; Josh '07, Zach '12 and Anne-Elyse '17.
