Spring Semester Books on Sale

And Books II will visit our campus Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12,  to sell spring semester books for our English classes.  Books will be sold during both lunches. Click here for the list of reading requirements.

Meeting for Parents of Incoming Students

STM is hosting a meeting Wednesday, January 11 at 6 p.m. for parents and students interested in applying for the 2017 - 2018 school year.  Some topics include: how to apply online, course offerings and schedule request forms.

12:30 Dismissal Thursday, No School on Friday or Monday

As a reminder, classes will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 for faculty in-service and school is closed on Friday, January 13 as we host the Cougar Classic Speech Tournament for the weekend.  Classes resume on Tuesday, January 17.

Fr. Manny Healing Service - Thursday, January 12

Join Parents for Light Thursday at 6 p.m. for refreshments and fellowship followed by a healing service with Fr. Manny Fernandez in the STM Mall.  The sacrament of Confession will be available during the service.  

Applications for New Students Available January 13

Online applications for incoming freshmen and new students are available January 13 at www.stmcougars.net/applynow. Please note that the deadline to apply for first priority consideration is January 20 at midnight.

Teen Safety in Social Media Presentation

Please join the Counseling Department for a special presentation by Stacie LeBlanc, J.D. M.Ed. on Tuesday, January 17 at 6 p.m. in the STM mall.  The program covers relevant Louisiana laws regarding teen sexual activity and how it pertains to age, alcohol, texting and Internet.  Students will hear a similar presentation on Wednesday, January 18 by Ms. LeBlanc.

Registration Open for the February Crossroads Retreat

Second Grandparent Mass - February 17

Grandparents whose last name begins with K-Z will be honored Friday, February 17 at 1:15 p.m. with a Mass followed by a brief reception in the gym.  Invitations will be mailed next week.

Rosary

Parents of St. Thomas More invite faculty and students to pray the rosary every Tuesday at 7 a.m. in the chapel or drop by with special intentions.
