Happy Retirement

We would like to thank Mr. Richard Lavergne for his service over the past 7 years. He has shared his many years of knowledge and experience with us which has helped us to all be better educators and leaders for our students. We will have many cherished memories, with the most memorable one being him always telling us, “I love you!” Thank you Mr. Lavergne for your dedicated service to our school!

St. Thomas More would like to bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Frances Angers who is retiring after 36 years of service. Her dedication to her students as a counselor and in the Academic Support Program will not be soon forgotten.  Her wit and enthusiasm helped many who struggled to become the best that they can be.  She will always be remembered as an advocate for these students in the ways that she sought to ensure that they received the most accommodations possible. Happy retirement Mrs. Angers! You will be missed!

We want to thank our senior counselor, Mrs. Sharon Johnson, who is retiring this year.  Mrs. Johnson has been a part of the STM family for 19 years.  She has always been a strong advocate for her students, fondly referred to as “her kids”. She has touched countless lives throughout the years with her servant’s heart.  She has been such an asset at STM and will truly be missed!

We would like to thank an amazing woman, Mrs. Debbie Kremheller, who is retiring this year after serving 22 years as one of our librarians and former Math and Art teacher. She constantly brings joy and laughter to all she does. She makes a point to recognize a child when she sees them doing great things and makes everyone around her feel like a friend. We will definitely miss her smiling face around St. Thomas More.

And last but certainly not least, of our retiring faculty is Mrs. Belinda Edwards, who has been with us since the doors of St. Thomas More opened in 1982 (38 years). Mrs. Edwards is a former English teacher and current librarian who has taught many of our faculty members and parents of current students. She was always readily available to help anyone in need and patiently assisted struggling students. She will always be a part of our Cougar family. Join us in wishing Mrs. Edwards a happy retirement!
