Brian Broussard
Commonly referred to as “Acadiana’s Fitness Coach,” Coach Brian has provided numerous lifestyle transformations to members of Acadiana’s community for nearly 20 years. Brian Broussard started his fitness career in 2001 as a fitness manager and trainer in New Orleans, LA. After moving to Lafayette in 2006, Brian began training at City Club in River Ranch. After realizing his passion to connect with groups of people as more than a trainer, Brian took on the “Coach” title and also started “Coach Brian’s Boot Camps” which grew rapidly and expanded to Opelousas, Lafayette, and Youngsville. In 2010, he founded Fit Life, LLC with the mission to Educate and Empower companies in Acadiana to live the “Fit Life” by helping employees gain confidence and strength, while reducing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Coach Brian has consulted with and provided successful on-site fitness programs for numerous companies throughout Acadiana. From 2014 – 2019, Coach Brian opened Fit Life Fitness Studio, with the goal of expanding the Fit Life mission in providing a positive group environment that was effective but not extreme. Coach Brian has a passion for coaching and believes in setting personal challenges, not solely focusing on the extremity of the workout. He believes that everyone can be challenged and live the “Fit Life” in their own way - every age, every weight. Coach Brian is now a Health and Wellness Coach at MTS Therapy and Wellness with a mission to create an atmosphere and motivation for people to continue to move and maintain a Fit Life! MTS has 4 wellness center locations throughout Acadiana.
When he is not motivating and empowering others to live a Fit Life, you can find Coach Brian volunteering at various events and functions to make a positive difference in the community. Coach Brian has been an integral part in helping grow Healing House’s presence in Acadiana. As a board member from 2011 – 2018, Coach Brian has brought his engaging personality and leadership to help raise awareness for childhood grief. Fully funded by donations, sponsorships and fundraisers such as Family Adventure Day and Absolute Best Martini Contest, the Healing House serves as a support system to over 100 children in Acadiana and best of all, at no charge. Healing House is an organization that is near and dear to his heart.
Brian’s roots are engrained in the Catholic Faith. He is a Graduate of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans and a proud supporter Our Lady of Fatima School, St Thomas More, and Holy Cross Catholic Church. He credits his loving wife Berryl and his two amazing sons, Brian, Jr (STM c/o 25) and Brennan (STM c/o 28) for their constant support.
Teenie Colomb
Lisa Antoine "Teenie" Colomb is married to Colby Colomb and together they are raising their granddaughter, Layla Barrosse, currently a freshman at St. Thomas More. With 37 years of experience as a high school teacher, Teenie brings extensive expertise in both the educational field and high school settings. During her granddaughter's tenure at Cathedral Carmel, Teenie volunteered her time generously. She substituted for teachers across all grade levels, served as Head Room Mother for six years, and actively participated in numerous fundraising activities. In addition to her educational endeavors, Teenie is actively involved in community service. She is a member of Catholic Daughters, the Altar Society, and the Senior Social Committee at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Teenie's dedication and servant's heart drive her to make meaningful contributions to her community and the lives of those around her.
Jessica Person Eckert
Jessica Eckert has been married to Brent for 20 years and they have 3 children. Hunter is a 2023 graduate of STM and currently attends LSU. Jackson is a sophomore attending STM and Emily is in 8th grade at St. Pius Elementary School. The Eckert’s are parishioners of St. Pius X, where Jessica and Brent have both made ACTS retreats. Jessica has also teamed two additional ACTS retreats. Jessica is a Registered Dietitian in private practice. She has been active in St. Pius Elementary School’s Parent Support Organization (PSO) throughout the years that her children have attended. Specific roles have included Gala planning, Crawfish Boil Chairperson, and PSO Secretary. She currently serves as Spirit Committee Co-Leader. She has also been active in supporting the clubs and athletic teams that her children have participated in, including football, basketball, tennis, cheerleading, student council, and quiz bowl. The Eckerts have been active in the children’s Krewe of Camleot, where Jessica has served as Vice-President, President, Parliamentarian and has chaired various committees. Jessica is looking forward to having her youngest children together at STM for the next few years and looks forward to continuing her commitment to service in the STM community.
Brittany Emerson
Brittany Emerson was born and raised in Lafayette. She graduated from Westminster Christian Academy in '00 and UL-Lafayette’s College of Nursing in '03. Brittany has served her community as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, most recently as a Manager of Quality Care for FMOLHS in adult and pediatric primary care for the Acadiana and Baton Rouge markets. Providing patient care will always be her passion, but her greatest joy is found in being a wife to her husband, Justin, and mom to their three incredible children, Connor ('25), Patrick ('28), and Caroline (future Cougar '32).
Although not an STM graduate, Brittany has always appreciated the deep sense of community and pride displayed throughout STM and has come to value it as their home. She hopes to continue those traditions for generations to come. Brittany believes that the priority must always be to cultivate a foundation in Christ to develop leaders for Him as young people enter into their communities. Her prayer for STM is to continue to grow in a relationship-centered environment of academic excellence and technological advancement while promoting safety, transparency, inclusion, and fun! Danny Jones
Danny was born and raised in Lafayette and as a 1997 STM graduate, readily admits that most everything in his life comes back to St. Thomas More. After reconnecting at the 2017 STM Alumni softball tournament, he married Caroline Moody Jones, class of 2000. They proudly raise their three daughters, Olivia (current Cougar and Class of ’25), Madeline (incoming Cougar and Class of ’28) and Camille (future Cougar and Class of ’30).
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism, Danny returned to Lafayette for work. He is dedicated to giving back to his community through his work organizing charitable events – most notably, the Louisiana Open golf tournament where he has served as the tournament/executive director since 2001.
Most would say he bleeds navy and maroon due to his love for, and his desire to see, St. Thomas More remain one of the premier high schools in the South. Being a part of the Cougar Football Radio Network, you may have heard him on the radio over the past 22 years as the “Voice of the Cougars.” While his love for STM athletics started as the PA Announcer for Cougar basketball his freshman year, he believes the academics of STM continue to best prepare all students for success both collegiately and professionally. He believes the Campus Ministry program allows every student the opportunity to form their own spiritual journey and grow their own relationship with Christ. He believes the STM Options Program has been a gift to the entire STM Family, not just students and faculty. Overall, he believes that St. Thomas More is more than a place, but a family. Danny desires to help lead our school and create a positive environment for ALL the students in our care; nurturing, protecting, and empowering them through faith and trust.
Danny often tells people that St. Thomas More has given so much to him, so the least he can do is continue to give back to a place he loves. He believes in a simple yet important hierarchy of life: God, family, school and that he, along with all St. Thomas More parents, has a duty to “educate their kids to be seekers of truth, individuals of character and "God's servant first."
Brun Lavergne
Brun LaVergne, a graduate of St. Thomas More (class of 2002), is a dedicated individual with a passion for bettering his community. He serves as a Lieutenant at the Scott Police Department, holding the position of Administrative Supervisor. Brun's journey into law enforcement began after completing his education at McNeese State University, following a path he felt aligned with his desire to contribute positively to society.
With over 13 years of service at the Scott Police Department, Brun has assumed various roles, including patrol officer, patrol supervisor, training officer, Investigations Commander, and Patrol Commander. However, it was his tenure as the SRO supervisor that left the most significant impact on him. Over the course of four years, Brun closely collaborated with school administrations across four schools, overseeing five officers dedicated to school safety. Through this experience, he gained invaluable insights into the intersection of education and law enforcement, recognizing the importance of bridging the gap between the two for the betterment of youth.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Brun is deeply rooted in the St. Thomas More community. Married to Tai Hayes (class of 2003), whom he met during their time at St. Thomas More, Brun is the proud parent of two children: Cohen, a sophomore at STM, and Celia, currently attending St. Pius. Celia will join her brother at St. Thomas More starting in the fall of 2025. Additionally, Brun comes from a family of St. Thomas More graduates, with three brothers sharing the same alma mater.
Given his extensive experience in law enforcement and close ties to the St. Thomas More community since 1998, Brun is honored to be nominated for the St. Thomas More Advisory Board. He believes that his unique perspectives and insights can contribute positively to maintaining the school's esteemed status as one of the top educational institutions in the state and nation. Brun remains committed to supporting initiatives that prioritize education and safety for the benefit of all students.
Bill Lukasko
William “Bill” Lukasko is the proud father of Alaina Lukasko, a senior (Class of 2024) and Will Lukasko, an incoming freshman (Class of 2028). He is married to Erica Lukasko, his bride of 22 years. Bill attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, graduating with a B.S. in Marine Engineering Systems in 1997. After graduating, Bill was commissioned into the U.S. Naval Reserve where he was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant in 2006. Bill is the Chief Operating Officer and part owner of R. J. Fuselier & Associates, L.L.C., a land surveying and mapping firm serving Louisiana, Houston and the New Orleans areas. Both of his children had the pleasure of attending St. Pius X Elementary School where he served a 3-year term on the Advisory Council and Financial Advisory Committee from 2017 to 2020 and is excited for the opportunity to bring that experience in service to the St. Thomas More Advisory Council. Bill and his family are parishioners of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where Bill serves as a Eucharistic Minister and has served in the ACTS Ministry both at St. Pius and in missioning to the churches of St. John the Evangelist in Mermentau, St. Joseph in Rayne, and St. Margaret of Scotland in Estherwood. Bill has witnessed the profound positive effect STM has had on his daughter’s faith and personal development over the past 4 years, is inspired by what he has witnessed in the collective faith of the student body and is excited for the what the next 4 years has to offer his son as a student at STM. It is for these reasons that Bill would be humbled and honored for the opportunity to give back to the STM community by serving on the Advisory Council.
Jacie Moncla
Jacie Lillie Moncla, a proud graduate of Our Lady of Fatima’s Class of 1992 and St. Thomas More Catholic High School's Class of 1996, embodies the spirit of service and dedication to our beloved alma mater. With a career marked by leadership and a deep commitment to community, Jacie stands steadfast to the values instilled at St. Thomas More. Married to Andrew Moncla for 21 years, Jacie cherishes her family above all else. Their greatest gifts are their three children, Maddox (STM Class of 2023), Lillie (STM Class of 2024), and Tucker (STM Class of 2027), who are a testament to their blessings and their commitment to passing on the Catholic values they hold dear. As parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church since 2008, the Moncla family's faith is at the center of their lives.
Jacie's journey after St. Thomas More led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Business Administration from Amberton University in Dallas, Texas. Her professional path has been marked by notable achievements, including leading the AT&T Hurricane Ida Storm Restoration team in New Orleans, deploying AT&T broadband fiber across the state of Louisiana, and upgrading the AT&T wireless network to 4G and 5G capability across the Gulf States, showcasing her leadership and dedication to serving the people of Louisiana.
Driven by her belief in St. Thomas More's mission to educate students as seekers of truth, individuals of character, and "God's servant first," Jacie feels called to give back by serving on the St. Thomas More Advisory Council and is humbled and honored by having been nominated. Her dedication to the school and its values is unwavering, and she is committed to ensuring its continued success in shaping the lives of students for the better.

Lisa Roy
Lisa worked for Johnson Controls for over 30 years in many roles including strategy, mergers & acquisitions, general management, and commercial leadership. In her most recent role, Lisa was the Global Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions for the enterprise of the organization. Prior to this role, she served as Vice President, Strategy, Building Solutions North America (BSNA) and led the strategic focus across the North American markets to ensure a long-term sustainable and healthy portfolio. Her responsibilities included driving market-back strategies, championing our mergers and acquisitions strategy, partnering with the energy Performance Infrastructure team to deploy the company’s sustainability strategy, and operationalizing enterprise workstreams to drive the future workforce.
Throughout her career, Lisa has held roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President, Commercial Sales for BSNA leading a $9B sales organization with over 3700 sales team members, Vice President and General Manager of Systems, Services and Solutions for the South Region which led the full P&L responsibility of a $1.2B business, Vice President and General Manager of Global Security and Fire, Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Accounts and Vice President and General Manager, North America Security and Fire.
Through Johnson Controls, Lisa has been an active supporter of United Way and the United Performing Arts Foundation. In addition, Lisa was actively involved in the Johnson Controls Women’s Network. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company in Canton, Ohio.
Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. She lives in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband and two children.
Angela Snow
Dr. Angela Snow is a 1993 graduate of St. Thomas More. She has three children — Nicholas, a sophomore at STM, Emily, an 8th grader at Fatima, and William, a 5th grader at Fatima. She is married to Bryan Snow, an IT consultant. She graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Psychology and LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. After completing her residency at Baylor in Houston, she returned home where she's worked as an Internal Medicine physician in Lafayette for over 15 years. In addition to her day job, Angela has been involved in numerous volunteer positions at Fatima. Most notably, she was a room mom for several years and served on the Health Advisory Council at Fatima during the two years of the Covid pandemic. Angela was also a den leader for cub scouts Pack 446 at Our Lady of Fatima. Angela’s favorite past time is traveling, watching her children grow and thrive and spending time with friends and family. Michael (Mike) David Williams
Michael is honored to have been nominated for election to the St. Thomas More High School Advisory Council representing its staff, students and parents by providing his years of practical business experience and financial oversight. If elected, Michael’s intentions are to build upon STM past successes and to strengthen foundations for the schools Catholic faith based mission of education for generations to come. With Michael’s conservative and faith based principles, he will always be cognizant and provide sound judgment and advice guided by parochial school and Diocesan policies, procedures, beliefs and practices of stewardship for its institutions of education. He will work collaboratively in a non-judgmental manner and confidentiality with all board members, Chancellor, Ex-Officio members as well as related groups to develop strategies and solutions benefiting the school community. Michael will promote open dialogue and participation to achieve meaningful outcomes, while maintaining reverence even in times of concern.

Nicole Zaunbrecher
Nicole Comeaux Zaunbrecher, proud alumna of STM class of 1998, is married to Tim Zaunbrecher. They are parents to Brice, a sophomore at STM, and Mia, an incoming STM freshman. Nicole is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Risk Management. She has over 20 years of banking and human resources experience and serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Home Bank. Nicole is committed to the community and has been an active volunteer on the Athletic Board for Cathedral Carmel School for over 10 years.
