• Cougar Band is traveling to Orlando this week and performing in Universal Studios Superstar Parade.  
  
• The Chorus is participating in the National Youth Choir Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City. They will be joining hundreds of students from across the country chosen by choral audition and will be directed by Dr. Edith Copely, a renowned Choral Conductor from Northern Arizona University
• Over 100 students, parents and faculty members are traveling to Puerto Rico for the annual mission trip to help restore homes 
• STEM Club is participating in the Mayor's annual address and showcase on culture and technology

It's time to vote for two open positions on our Advisory Council.  We have received many qualified nominations for this important role and want to thank all candidates.  St. Thomas More students are blessed by so many volunteers who give tirelessly of their time and talents.

New Changes to Uniform Policy for 2018 - 2019 School Year

Uniform skirts - length must touch the top of the kneecap with tapering longer towards the back, if needed, in order to keep the hemline level while worn. 

Shirts - new option - moisture-wicking "dry fit" short sleeve shirts in navy and white. Available at Uniformity, School Time, Fashion World and Young Fashions

Extra Security on Campus

In an effort to secure our campus during high traffic events, a sheriff's deputy has been hired to be on campus during Mass.

Financial Aid/Work Study Program

Applications will open on the FACTS system on April 1.  You can access the application by going to your FACTS account and opening the Grant & Aid tab at the top. Tax returns are required to be submitted to FACTS in order for your application to be considered complete.  The applications close on April 15th.  Families are notified of grant awards by the first week of May.  Please contact mary.werther@stmcougars.net if you have any questions.
