CANstruction

We are so excited to announce that we exceeded our goal and collected more than 20,000 canned goods for St. Joseph Diner through CANstruction! This is enough food to stock their pantry through the holidays. Thank you to Mrs. Shannon Phillips for spearheading the service project and everyone who donated.  Please click here to see the class structures and winners!

Counseling TidBits

GRIT, described as passion and perseverance for long-term goals, is an indicator for success and happiness. Renowned author and GRIT expert, Angela Duckworth, states, "The first thing is that a parent is a child's first role model. So if you love what you do and your kids see you wake up early, go at it, have bad days, come home, maybe even cry a little, [and then] get back up again." For more on characteristics of GRIT, please click here.
