Counseling TidBits

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. According to AACAP, suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people aged 5-25. As parents, it's necessary to be informed on facts, risk factors, and resources surrounding suicide and prevention, in order to have authentic conversations with our children (click here for more information). Another great local resource is the Jacob Crouch Foundation.
