Introducing Livestream

STM Athletics, along with the National Federation of High Schools, has partnered to stream live all home athletic contests that will take place in Cougar stadium and Cougar Dome. This includes Fr, JV, & Varsity football, soccer, & lacrosse in Cougar stadium and Fr, JV & Varsity volleyball and basketball in the Cougar Dome. Counseling TidBits

The PSAT will be administered to all juniors (this is a mandatory day for juniors) and those sophomores and freshmen that registered for the test on Wednesday, 10/10/18.  Practice for PSAT can be found here.

The PreACT will be administered to all freshmen and sophomores (this is a mandatory day for them) on Thursday, 10/11/18.  More information on the PreACT can be found here.

Upcoming Testing Information

For the PSAT and the Pre-ACT

• Report to testing room by 7:30 am
• Wear your uniform – bring a jacket
• Bring 3 sharpened # 2 pencils
• Bring an approved calculator
• Bring a watch to pace yourself
• No cell phones
• No electronic devices except the approved calculator
• Eat a protein rich breakfast

PSAT – Wednesday, October 10, 2018

• The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is mandatory for all juniors 
• Sophomore and freshmen students enrolled in AP / honor classes were encouraged to register for the PSAT
• It is taken to prepare for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and is also used as a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Program 
  

Pre- ACT – Thursday, October 11, 2018

• The Pre-ACT is mandatory for all sophomores and freshmen 
• Pre-ACT simulates the ACT testing experience within a shorter test window on all four ACT test subjects: English, math, reading and science
• Results predict future success on the ACT test and provide both current achievement and projected future ACT test scores on the familiar 1-36 ACT score scale 

College Fair

STM will host a Lafayette Area Catholic High School College Fair on October 4 in the small gym from 6 to 8 p.m. To register, visit our College Counselor's page.

Nine teams will compete at Lip Sync Battle on the Bayou for the coveted belt and bragging rights, but they can't win without your support, so vote now and vote often for your favorite team!

Pilgrimage to Rome, Fatima and London

As part of the 70th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima Church/School Parish, and in commemoration of his 30th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood, Fr. Russo, our Chancellor, is leading a pilgrimage to Rome and Fatima (May 25th through June 5th, 2019.)  There will also be an extension to London to walk in the footsteps of St. Thomas More through June 8th. Anyone interested can call Fatima Parish (232.8945) for a printed brochure of details.  There is limited space (only one bus) so it is important that you get on the roster as soon as possible.
