PTC Online Auction

Hopefest Music Festival
Hopefest Music Festival is April 6, 11 am - 9 pm at Parc International. Please visit eventbrite.com for the advance ticket price of $20. Gate price is $35. The junior class has put together a great lineup of entertainment including nationally known Christian band Tenth Avenue North, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Souled Out, Steven Joubert and many other great musicians from STM including Noa Hollinger, Maddy Thib & Anna Lantier and more. All proceeds benefit our special needs friends in the Options program & the D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana.

Counseling TidBits
The last quarter of the school year often presents difficulties to stay on track and focus on the goals students made at the beginning of the year. Here are a few pointers and tips we can discuss with our children on how to finish the school year strong: review and adjust previous goals, remind them what they are working towards, take time outs when studying and doing homework, adjust attitudes to be more positive, stick to a routine, and focus on the finish line.

College 101 - RSVP Today
STM is hosting College 101 on Wednesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. in the STM mall. Admissions representatives from UL Lafayette, LSU, and South LA Community College will offer informational sessions. A representative from the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance will offer sessions on TOPS requirements. Dr. Fruge will offer a session on applying to selective and out-of-state colleges.

Fine Arts Showcase
You are invited to the Fine Arts Showcase on Tuesday, April 16 from 6 - 8 pm in the STM cafe. Over 1,000 pieces of art on display from all art classes. Come out and support our very talented fine arts students.

Financial Aid/Work Study Program
Applications will open on the FACTS system on April 1. You can access the application by going to your FACTS account and opening the Grant & Aid tab at the top. Tax returns are required to be submitted to FACTS in order for your application to be considered complete. The applications close on April 15th. Families are notified of grant awards by the first week of May. Contact mary.werther@stmcougars.net if you have any questions.

Scholarship Letters
Please turn in COPIES of all scholarship letters your student received (even those they are not accepting) for the graduation program by May 1. Sometimes, the amounts are also in their student college accounts if you cannot find the document. Please do not send via email.
