Parents 4 Light

This Thursday, we are honored and blessed to offer an evening with Bishop Douglas Deshotel. Bishop Deshotel will present on our Campus Ministry theme: You Were Made for More. We strongly encourage as many parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and administrators to join us Thursday, September 14, from 6:30 pm - 8 pm in the STM Chapel. Snacks and fellowship begin at 6 pm and the last 20 minutes will include adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Homebase

While Parents 4 Light is happening in the chapel, all 680 Campus Ministers of 2017-18 have their first Homebase of the year from 6p - 8p in the STM Mall. Homebases are required attendance for all campus ministers. The Campus Ministry staff with Fr. Joe Breaux and Fr. William Schambough have a special formation night planned for campus ministers. The evening will include dinner, praise & worship, a talk, reflection, Sacrament of Reconciliation, and Eucharistic Adoration. (Campus Ministers must email campusministry@stmcougars.net if they have a legitimate conflict and cannot attend.)

Grandparent Mass

On Friday, September 15, we will host Grandparent Mass for those Grandparent's whose last name begins with A - J. Mass is at 1:15 pm and a brief reception will follow in the Cougar Dome.

Volleyball T-shirts

The annual STM Cougars vs. Blue Gators PINK volleyball match for breast cancer awareness is set for Thursday, October 5th at St. Thomas More. Please click here to order t-shirts by Sunday, September 17. All proceeds from the event & shirt sales will benefit Miles Perret Cancer Services. Shirts will be distributed through Jessica Burke (STM Campus) or Jill Braun (AES Campus) prior to the game. Shirts purchased will serve as entry into the game.

College 101

Please let us know if you are able to attend College 101 on September 13 by clicking here. Representatives from TOPS, UL Lafayette, LSU, Tulane University, and SLCC will be here to discuss admission requirements, housing, scholarships, and much more. Sessions are open to 9th - 12th grade students and parents, its never too early to look towards your future!

CANstruction

STM's school wide service project "Canstruction", which benefits St. Joseph Diner, is underway. Cans and non-perishable food items will be collected in homerooms through Friday, September 22. St. Joseph Diner is in desperate need of food, so our donation this year is more needed than ever. Can we build it, yes we can!!
