Homecoming Activities 

Dress Days:

• Monday: 1950's attire - girls - poodle skirts, rolled jeans, high pony tails, cat eye glasses; boys - rolled jeans, white shirts
• Tuesday: 1960's attire - tie dye, bell bottoms (no peace signs or short skirts)
• Wednesday: 1980's attire - acid wash, preppy shirts, neon, sweat bands, layered clothes,  etc.  NO SPANDEX
• Thursday: Homecoming t-shirts with jeans
• Friday: Mass attire in the morning and immediately after Mass, students may change into their class t- shirts or Homecoming shirts with shorts (finger tip rule applies)

Important Times:

• Mass on Friday: 8:16 am
• Alumni speaker: Danny Jones '97 after Mass
• Pep Rally time on Friday: 10:20 a.m. at Cougar Stadium
• Dismissal time on Friday: 11:45 a.m. - Noon

Battling for the Belt

Congratulations to team "Frosh of the Boat" for winning the coveted Lip Sync Battle on the Bayou Championship Belt and to team "Low T & the Hot Flashes" for grabbing Fan Favorite.  A great big thank you to all the teams and choreographers for sharing the time and amazing talents with our community. 

A heartfelt thanks to the Lip Sync Committee and the Parent Teacher Club for their handwork in organizing such a great event for our school. The event brought our community together for a night of fun entertainment and was a huge success raising over $115,000 for the renovation of our science labs. 

STM Tennis Monster Smash Adult Fundraiser Tournament
The STM Tennis Teams are hosting the Monster Smash Adult Tennis Tournament on October 28th at Cougar Courts! All levels welcome, and draws are available for Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles teams. Tournament begins at 9 am and features lunch, drinks, 3 guaranteed matches, prizes for 1st and 2nd, door prizes, and an optional costume contest.

Reminders   

Parent Education Campus Ministry

Dan Spencer, Executive Director of the National Fellowship of Catholic Men will be at STM on Thursday, October 19 at 10 a.m. and at Our Lady of Fatima church at noon. Mr. Spencer is a noted author on pornography use and will speak on effective parenting skills to address it.  He will speak for one hour. Attendance at either venue is open to all STM and Fatima parents and families.

Sport/Club Fundraisers  

Volleyball Jambalaya

The volleyball team is selling jambalaya dinners for their annual fundraiser. Dinner includes jambalaya, salad, roll and cookie for $8. Pick up is Wednesday, October 18 from 5 - 7 p.m.

 
STM Band Fried Catfish Dinners 

The STM Band is selling fried catfish dinners for its annual fundraiser. The cost is $10 per ticket and includes a catfish dinner cooked by iMonelli's of Lafayette containing: ½lb. of fried catfish, french fries, coleslaw, and a fried pistolette. Pick up is on Sunday, October 29 between 11 am to 1 pm in the student parking lot at STM. Boys Soccer Jambalaya

The boys soccer team is selling jambalaya dinner tickets for $10. Dinners include jambalaya, beans, coleslaw and bread.  Pick up is in the STM student parking lot on Saturday, November 11.  Please purchase your tickets from any boys soccer player today!
