Catholic Schools Week

St. Thomas More celebrates National Catholic Schools this week. The annual celebration focuses on the value Catholic education provides to young people, our church, our communities, and our nation. This week's Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30 and we will recognize our Student and Supporters of the Year.

Cougar Court

Cougar Court festivities begin this week with dress days and lunch games (click here for schedule). Tuesday's Mass will honor our court and girls & boys basketball players and managers. The pep rally is scheduled for Friday, February 2 from 12 - 2 p.m. with the annual junior/senior class basketball game and ending with the faculty game. The Lady Cougars take on Westgate at 6 p.m. and our boys game begins around 7:20 p.m. The 2018 Cougar Court will be presented at half-time and the Sadie's dance will follow immediately after the game in the STM café until 11 p.m.

Senior Updates from College Counseling

If your senior has not applied to UL Lafayette and LSU, and are interested, they need to apply this weekend! Priority deadline for scholarships is January 31 (UL Lafayette) and Feb. 1 (LSU).

Seniors that applied to out-of-state or private in-state colleges and/or universities might be required to send their mid-year grades to these schools. Students have been emailed to see Dr. Fruge to complete this task.

Please send ALL scholarship offers (even if your student is not accepting them) to Dr. Fruge' for the graduation program. Please do NOT email them. Your student may drop off the paperwork at the Counseling Department. Remember it must have a monetary value attached to the award.

Sr. Yearbook Pictures Make Up Date
If your senior missed the opportunity to take a yearbook picture, the make up date is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6 at 4:30 p.m. at Jay Faugot Photography studio. Boys should wear their Mass shirt and necktie.

Online proofs will be available January 30. Please call the studio (233-4333) if your student would like to schedule a retake on February 6.

Year End Tax Statements from FACTS

Parents are able to print a year end summary of all payments processed through FACTS to be used when completing your Louisiana tax return. A printable payment summary is available on the Payments tab. It can be printed for a calendar year or a date range.
