Retreats

Kairos is a three-day, two-night retreat model offered multiple times throughout the year for juniors and seniors. The retreat is led by the Kairos Leadership team and is for students wishing to grow deeper in faith and in relationship. Through opportunities of Mass, Adoration, and Confession, students come to see themselves connected to God, and they leave ready to take ownership of their faith. The retreat is held at Stillwater Catholic Retreat Center in Abbeville.

Encounter is an overnight voluntary retreat for STM freshmen and sophomores and only offered once a year. Held at beautiful Dry Creek Baptist Center in Dry Creek, La., This retreat has been an awesome weekend for building new friendships, rekindling old, and bonding as a class. Encounter, led by our senior Encounter team, is the largest retreat put on by STM Campus Ministry designed to introduce and invite teenagers to a personal relationship with Jesus. Encounter is best described as high energy and "off the hook" fun!

Behold is an Encounter follow-up retreat offered for STM freshmen & sophomores. Behold will be held at ABC Retreat Center in Richard, Louisiana. 

This is a retreat full of energy, laughter, adventure, and memories for a life-time. Designed to introduce underclassmen to Jesus and invite them into a personal relationship with Him, Behold is offered once a year in the spring.

Talitha Koum is an all girls retreat held in the Fall at the ABC Center in Eunic, LA on October 4 and 5, 2025.  The retreat is open to STM Junior and Senior girls.

The goal of the retreat is to encourage the young ladies on our campus to grow in their spiritual lives, to build community among one another and to develop a deeper understanding of their own inherent dignity and value.
